Frequently Asked Questions About Our Online Store

1.  Shopping Cart drops items when ordering from more than one category / section.  What am I doing wrong?

Do Not use your Back Button on your web browser to go back and order from other sections.  This will erase items from your shopping cart.  Please use the Continue Shopping Button, the Navigation System provided in the store, or the Storefront Button at the bottom of the screen to shop in another section.

2.  How do I order more than one of an item?  I can submit it to the shopping cart but only one shows up.

The online shopping cart system will allow you to edit and update the items after you enter that item into your shopping cart.  Just type in the new quantity you wish to order and hit the Recalculate button.

3.  Do California residents have to pay sales tax?

Yes, sales tax is required on all orders.  We will give you the total amount due including the sales tax on the items you order from us.

4.  Who is responsible for packages sent out in case of loss or damage?

Remember that we will not be held responsible for packages if they are not insured.  Please answer YES or NO in the Comments Box when ordering online or mention this to us when ordering by phone, etc. that you would like insurance YES or NO.  Again if you answer NO, we will not be held responsible for lost or damaged packages.  Any damage must be reported to us within five days of delivery to be valid for a claim.

This is USPS's price table for insuring packages sent within the US with the amount that will be added to your order depending on the merchandise total if you agree to having your package insured:

5.  Is there a customer service email address for technical questions and / or repairs concerning Model Motoring Slot Cars including questions about my order, etc.?  How about if I am having problems with the website or online store?

Yes, you can reach Harrison Woodrow or someone at Model Motoring Inc. by sending an email to  This includes any details or status about your order, anything relating to the website itself and the online store system as well.  They will forward any technical problems with the online store or website to their webmaster if needed.

6.  What is your return policy for returning items to Model Motoring Inc.?

All Sales are Final! No returns are accepted unless item(s) are damaged from the factory or while in shipment.  We will exchange damaged merchandise at our discretion but will not offer cash refunds.  Please send us an email at before you return any damage items for authorization.  If at all possible, keep all packing material if you notice the package has been damaged.  You must contact us for a Return Authorization within five days of receiving your package if you discover any items(s) that you purchased are damaged.  No other returns are accepted and all purchases are final when ordering.  We cannot accept any other returns, except for damaged new, unaltered merchandise.  We will not be responsible for burnt out motors or chassis due to racing modifications or broken bodies from racing.  If you purchased a Model Motoring Inc. item from your local hobby shop, please contact them first to try and resolve the issue.  Thank You for Understanding!
